It’s been quite some time we have posted a sort of “drone tabloid” video here on Dronethusiast. Now I’ve found an Inspire 1 crash video where a clearly novice crowd sets out to fly the poor thing for the first time. First, they just fly low in the parking lot and seem to have basic control of the bird. At the same time, you can see that the “pilot” is always navigating himself to be positioned behind the Inspire, so he clearly can not maintain his orientation. It all goes well for a while.

Than they get more confident and fly the drone a bit higher, but the location isn’t ideal as the parking lot is surrounded by walls and power lines. But they “survive” that part also, quite lucky there. It seems like they just prepare to land when the pilot first just scratches the wall, but than – I suspect due to loss of orientation – slam the Inspire into the wall. Sad to see, but the team there seems to be having fun. $3000 could have bought them some better fun, but they might just make that money back if the video goes really viral. The moral: learn to fly before you stretch your limits, do your first few flights in a big open field and take a course, so you know what you are doing.

You know this video is a viral add for a clothing line. Got to the Youtube Channel the leads to the clothing store. The guy has over 85 million subscribers. It is a set up.

Nothing to do with a clothing line and his channel has 8.5 million, not 85 million… idiot

having had years of experience with people from the UK who have more money than brains, the sophomoric high pitched giggling pretty much says it all, they have no respect for what they have when guys like me are struggling to show how drones are a benefit to society when guys like this give it a bad name, ruin it for us all, and literally don’t give a damn.

You do realise that the British guy didn’t crash the inspire, he was clearly filming on his iPhone whilst the owner crashed it.
