If you would not see it, you would not believe it. What the man does some to have been triggered by the instant as the not so thirsty guy is heading casually out of the crowd. Than somethings snaps and he starts running and the dash ends in a leap and he snatches drone.  The incident happened at a Peruvian cumbia concert back in October, but the footage was only released on Youtube recently by Jukin videos. Jukin videos was also “responsible” for the infamous video with young guys shooting fireworks at each other.

Chicha or Peruvian cumbia is a subgenre of Cumbia that became popular in the coastal cities of Peru, mainly in Lima in the 1960s through the fusion of local versions of the original Colombian genre, traditional highland huayno, and rock music, particularly surf rock and psychedelic rock.

Bang, psychedelic, there is the answer. I was personally thinking that this guy must have been gulping a bit too much Ayahuasca a psychedelic brew made out of Banisteriopsis caapi vine alone or in combination with various plants and drank by the native peoples of Amazonian Peru. According to some comments on Youtube, the “Borracho” – which best translates to drunkard – was thinking that the drone was actually a giant fish. Hey it could be the result of the combination of those two Peruvian psychedelic habits.

Anyhow, the guy is clearly not aware of the latest NTSB ruling stating that drones are indeed aircraft or else he would not have tried (and succeed) grabbing it mid air. He could have lost a few phalanges there. It seems that the drone belonged to the concert organizers as he was quickly snatched by the security crew and it seems that he was looking forward to some rough time.
