Drone Footage of War-Torn Debaltseve Shows Results of Shelling
War-torn Eastern Ukraine is the center of attention as the world watches Russia’s Putin invade parts of the country claiming that the fighters are Pro-Russia rebels rather than proper military troops. This past Wednesday, Ukraine decided to retreat from the territory in order to avoid more casualties after some 3000+ fighters died in the clashes.
Here is some drone footage recorded by the retreating forces demonstrating the result of heavy shelling by the separatist militants. The recording is not very stable, they probably did not have a 3 axis gimbal to avoid shaking. Ukraine troops lack the high tech gadgets, especially military drones that the US and other countries have. I guess it’s probably not one of the 5 DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus units that a US transport company donated to the Ukraine forces.
Now the area is eerily quiet and separatist forces are taking over the territory in an attempt to redraw Europe’s maps. Sad to see war tearing up places that were once homes of peaceful people. Is Putin rushing towards the next world war? Feel free to express your opinion in the comments section!
