drone footage snow storm vermont town

The severe weather that brought a snow storm to St. Albans, Vermont a few days ago on January 20th was captured in breathtaking fashion. The storm covered the area for miles, creating a white blanket that shrouded Vermont. Thought it was difficult to drive, one drone user took to the skies to capture the storm and show a side that has left viewers in awe.

The footage taken of the storm, which blanketed the city in low visibility conditions that made it quite dangerous to drive, was taken by Armand Messier.

The National Weather Service issued a warning in the Vermont area for dangerously cold wind chills that could cause hypothermia and frostbite due to exposure. Both flights and trains were delayed in Vermont, according to the Weather Channel.

Though this storm was devastating in multiple areas of Vermont, the video shows a beautiful side to it.
